A growing WooCommerce store hitting plugin-related downtime during peak hours. We migrated everything to Shopify Plus over 6 weeks — products, orders, customers, SEO redirects — with no traffic loss the week after launch.
The Challenge
Stride Athletics' WooCommerce stack was crashing roughly once a week during US-evening peak — each incident costing meaningful order revenue. They had 4 years of order history (~26,000 orders), 2,800 SKUs with deep variant data, 9,500 customers, and 3,400 indexed URLs they couldn't afford to lose.
The Solution
We mapped every WC product attribute to Shopify variants + metafields. Order + customer history exported via WC REST API, transformed in a Node script, imported via Shopify Bulk Operations. We built a 301 redirect map (CSV → Cloudflare Workers rules) so every old URL keeps its SEO equity. Subscriptions were re-issued through Recharge with a 14-day grace period for any token mismatch.
